Music from and for the Local Church

The Still Worship Collective began during the pandemic of 2020 when two friends began to meet for weekly co-writes over Zoom. During these sessions, Trevor Noonan and Shaun Tomczak shared the way that God was moving in their lives and still inspiring them with wonder and awe in all that He has made. As the lyrics and music developed into congregational worship songs, they couldn’t help but feel like God was calling them to something bigger than just the two of them. As they began to talk through God’s stirring of their hearts they began to ask questions like:

How is God moving through the local church?

Is there a need for a platform where someone called to their local church can still share the music God is inspiring?

From these questions, the two began to form The Still Worship Collective, a platform to elevate the songs God is still inspiring in the local church.

Joy of Salvation

One of the ways we recognize how desperately in need of a savior we are is to acknowledge our sin. To come to grips with all the little ways we deceive ourselves into “i’m not really that bad”. The truth is we all rebel against our Lord. On the other side of that acknowledgment is a heart filled with joy in our salvation, a salvation only provided by Jesus Christ.

My Maker

Our God is so big, beyond what we can fully fathom. He spoke and with His word created everything in the universe. If creating everything around us wasn’t enough for us to be in awe, He offers us a hope and a relationship with the triune God through His son Jesus.

Psalm 149:1-2, Psalm 8:3-4
