The Meros Center is a research and training community for Christian health ministry. We provide access to relevant research, evaluation tools, training, and connections that are often difficult to find. Health ministry initiatives are empowered to innovate and improve outcomes while increasing credibility in the broader health community. Students, volunteers, and health professionals receive training to implement and evaluate gospel-centered health strategies both locally and globally. In this vibrant hub of networking and discovery, believers work together to reveal the life, ministry, and mission of Jesus.

We walk alongside our like-hearted partners. Measuring and increasing impact starts with access to tools and expertise which help you ask powerful questions—questions that both uncover problems and reveal the indicators to keep you on track toward fixing them. The Meros Center is that starting point.

Our Values

About The Meros Center

The research and relationships you’ll find at The Meros Center are meant to help you measure, innovate and share your impact. We support each other by creating access to key resources, people, and training that make it possible for each of us to see the greatest outcomes in the communities we serve.

One primary goal unites us: To see the love and ministry of Jesus impacting lives through the work we do. This work does not need to be done in isolation. There’s a good chance that others have tried something similar to what you’re doing. In our research community, you can learn from the approaches and outcomes of others. You can connect with likeminded people and resources that help you to measure, steward and share your unique impact.

And if you’re a student or volunteer, we can train you in the theory and practice of community health ministry so that you can experience the joy of stepping fully equipped into your purpose.

Through The Meros Center, you’ll learn what has worked for someone else and use it for your own initiatives. This is what we call innovation through partnership: learning from a model that already exists and applying it to your own context. We’ll help you understand how to read data, identify bias, and spot weak evidence so that as progress is tracked, adjustments can be confidently made. We also help you find trained people who can help you execute these strategies.

Credibility is grown through meaningful data. When you’ve learned what works and what doesn’t, it’s important to share those outcomes. This can be done through peer review publications, by connecting to well-known research entities, and explaining your findings directly to donors. Telling the story behind—and with—the data means securing funding for the relevant problems of today and tomorrow.

Your health ministry initiative deserves to have greater credibility and influence in the broader public health community. We can help you accomplish that.
