What is the Family Bible Journey?
The Family Bible Journey is a three-year, daily devotional journey through the Bible. Each 7-12 minute podcast makes real life connections and applications to God's sacred word. Listeners are encouraged to journal through the Bible for themselves or a loved one, so that coming generations may be blessed as we leave the legacy of faith.
History of Family Bible Journey
Inspired by a member of his first parish, who had journaled through the Bible for 13 grandchildren, Pastor Dan Lepley began journaling through the Bible for each of his own children. He launched the Family Bible Journey after journaling through the Bible seven times, in order to encourage others to journal through the Bible for their own family. Family Bible Inc. is a recognized 501c3 organization, registered in the State of Michigan.
Family Bible Journey Values
- Christ-Centered-We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and the only basis of a truly fulfilling life.
- Discipline-We believe their is reward for being disciplined in every aspect of life, and that we are blessed, as well as others, when we dedicate ourselves to achieving big goals to bless others.
- The Word Works-We believe that the scriptures are the inspired Word of God, and will have a sanctifying effect when we immerse ourselves in them.
Family Bible Journey Services
- Travel Host-Pastor Dan leads faith-based trips to the Holy Land, Europe, and mission trips domestically and overseas.
- Bible Studies-Pastor Dan Lepley leads groups interested in utilizing the Family Bible Journey for daily devotions.
- Retreat Planning-If your group or church would like to do a Bible journaling retreat, we can make arrangements and help plan your retreat.
